Comfort is part of the reason Giseli Dias exists. The ambition is to create distinctive shoes that feel as considered on the foot as they look: expressive silhouettes shaped by thoughtful proportions, carefully developed constructions and attention to the details that influence how a shoe is worn.
From our steel stilettos to our sculptural platforms, comfort is part of the design process from the beginning.
Comfort Begins with the Construction
Every Giseli Dias model starts with its own construction. The shape, insole and heel are developed together, allowing the relationship between each component to be considered as a whole.
Our pumps use a shorter, less elongated shape, with a more gently rounded approach to the toe than a traditionally narrow, extended point. The intention is to preserve an elegant silhouette while giving greater consideration to the foot within it.
Material selection and carefully finished stitching complete this approach. These details may be less visible than a sculptural heel or an embellished upper, but they are central to the way we design.
Our Steel Stiletto: Elegance with a Wider Base
The slender line of a stiletto is one of the most recognizable expressions of elegance in footwear. At Giseli Dias, we have developed that silhouette with particular attention to its base.
Our signature steel stiletto has a widened base, designed to provide greater stability while retaining the visual lightness of a fine heel. This proportion is deliberate: the aim is to preserve the elegance of the stiletto while giving it a more substantial foundation.
The heel is considered together with the shoe’s shape, height and insole. Its appearance and its function belong to the same design decision.

Carefully Chosen Heights and Proportions
Heel height is never considered in isolation. The relationship between the heel and the forefoot is part of the shoe’s overall construction.
Giseli Dias does not use stilettos above 110 mm without a platform. For higher silhouettes, a platform raises the forefoot as well as the heel, allowing us to work with dramatic height while controlling the difference between them.
Diana and Constance illustrate this approach: a 140 mm heel is paired with a 40 mm platform, giving an approximate heel-to-forefoot height difference of 100 mm. These proportions are chosen as part of the design’s balance and comfort, rather than treating height as a purely visual feature.
